Police attend the report of apparent firearms in Freehold

Five men and two women were arrested after a group of men were seen in the Freehold area carrying apparent firearms.
A number of knives and an imitation firearm was seized by police.
A police spokesman said: "Shortly after 7.10pm on Monday 12 June, police were called to reports of a man being threatened with a firearm on Drake Street in Rochdale.
"Shortly after a group of men were seen in the Freehold area of Rochdale, a number of them were carrying apparent firearms.
"Armed police attended and six men and two women were arrested.
"A white Kia Picanto was seized along with a number of knives and an imitation firearm.
"Enquiries are ongoing and there is a large police presence in the area.
"Police would like to reassure the community that this incident is not terrorism related."
