Date published: 13 June 2017
Littleborough was buzzing on Saturday (10 June) when Littleborough Food & Drink Festival drew hundreds of people to the centre.
Now in it's third year, this year's festival was the biggest yet. Hare Hill Road and Victoria Street were closed off to allow almost twenty food to serve up delicious wild boar burgers, pasta, meatballs, waffles, curries, Mexican dishes and more for people to enjoy.
The food trail was back with over 30 shops playing host to tasters from local food producers and restaurants.
Littleborough Deli's Andy McKay was back to perform cookery demonstrations with Graham Sherwin and Owen Rhodes from The Green Door who each cooked up a series of delicious dishes at the demonstration kitchen.
New for this year, 16 little chefs also got to learn how to make tasty treats at the cookery school.
The Jaeger Maestros, Rock Choir and Wardle Junior Blast provided music, plus there was an energetic Zumba demonstration and free face painting.
