House fire in Heywood

Gencoe Close, Heywood
A house fire in Gencoe Close, Heywood in the early hours of Thursday (1 June) was caused by an electrical fault in the bathroom fan, which spread to the outside of the property.
Three fire engines from Heywood, Bury and Whitefield attended and extinguished the fire breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
There were no casualties.
