Year 9 History went to Bankfield Museum as part of their GCSE curriculum and had an interactive workshop on Wild West Pioneer Trail around the Museum to see the historic artefacts on Buffalo Bill and the Wild West.

The group saw a life size Tepee and lots of drawings of native Americans and an insight into their lives outside of the movies. They also had a talk on the guns used at that time.

They held rifles and a Cog 45 replica pistol and thoroughly enjoyed making their own Totem poles with their own unique characteristics of animals to represent the personalities of the pupils.
