Trial date of September for man and woman charged in connection with baby's death

The trial of the man and woman charged in connection of the death of a baby in Rochdale will take place at Manchester Crown Court on 4 September.
Reporting restrictions on the identity of those charged are in place, hence the man and woman cannot be named.
Shortly before 9.30am on Tuesday 6 September police were called by the ambulance service to a report of concern for the welfare of a child at a property in the Spotland area.
An eight-month-old baby boy was taken to hospital with multiple injuries and sadly died on Thursday 8 September.
