The Liberal Democrat Party has announced it would boost funding for police forces by £300m a year.
Under the proposal, Greater Manchester would see a funding increase of £15,630,000 a year.
Councillor Andy Kelly, Rochdale Liberal Democrat Candidate, said: “If elected in June, I will work to ensure that Rochdale gets its fair share of extra officers. We need to ensure our streets are safer. Extra officers are part of the answer."
