Dogs rescued from kitchen fire in Heywood

Two dogs were rescued from a kitchen fire at a terraced property in Egerton Street, Heywood on Sunday (14 May).
A smoke alarm sounding and dogs barking from the property were reported and when fire fighters arrived they extinguished the fire, rescued the dogs and cleared smoke with high pressure fans.
The resident was not in the property at the time of the incident.
