Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 06 May 2017

On Thursday 4 May, a group of LKS2 children represented us at the IPLCN cricket event at Rochdale Cricket Club, accompanied by Miss Mullane. They performed excellently and were a credit to the school. Well done.

We are holding a ‘wear green’ non-uniform on Friday 12 May to raise further funds for Springhill Hospice. Parents will have received a letter in relation to a competition being held in school to support Springhill Hospice. We are asking children to bring pennies into class by Friday 12 May. Please send in any pennies that you have and help us support a very worthwhile charity.

The very best of luck to our Year 6 children who will be taking their SATS next week. A letter will be coming out to Year 6 parents, but we are asking that all Year 6 children are in school for 8:30am on Monday 8 May to Thursday 11 May.

Parents should have recently received an order form for their child’s class photo. If parents wish to order any photos and haven’t yet sent back the order form, then please do so by Friday 11th May. Please can parents send the correct change with orders, as this money goes directly to the photographers and is not dealt with in the school office.
