Fire on Crompton Moor
A small fire has broken out on Crompton Moor at around 5pm on Friday (5 May).
Plumes of grey smoke can be seen billowing across the blue sky from Rochdale town centre.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue have confirmed engines are attendance and tackling the blaze.
A spokesperson said: “It's a priority 4 fire (second lowest priority) and it appears to be a small fire, so I don’t imagine it will spread.”
