Garage fire on Heights Lane

Firefighters from Rochdale, Heywood and Chadderton attended a fire at detached domestic garage in Heights Lane, Rochdale at 2.33am on Sunday, 30 April.
The fire involved the roof space of a detached garage and crews used an ultra-high pressure cutting lance, one hose reel, an axe and a short extension ladder to bring the fire under control.
Firefighters remained in attendance for around 70 minutes and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
