Kevin McGovern given six-month imprisonment for driving dangerously

Kevin McGovern, of Hazelhurst Drive, Middleton, has been jailed for six months, banned from driving for two years and ordered to take an extended re-test before lawfully driving again.

McGovern had been charged with driving a Mercedes E220 dangerously on 12 August 2016 on the A59 at Skipton.

The case was before Skipton Magistrates’ Court on 17 February 2017 and McGovern was committed to Bradford Crown Court for trial to appear on the 17 March 2017. Sentencing was on 7 April 2017.
