Date published: 31 March 2017

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find Samantha Baldwin, a mother who lived in Rochdale until 2015, who is wanted on suspicion of abducting Dylan Madge, six, and Louis Madge, nine, for whom she has no legal custody at this time.

The family, who moved to Newark in 2015, also have connections to Lincolnshire.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of 42-year-old Samantha who was last seen in the area of Nottingham Waterfront at around 11am on Monday 27 March and in Cheapside, in Nottingham City Centre, between 11.30am and 12.45pm the same day.

Neither she nor the boys have been seen since CCTV captured her in Cheapside, Nottingham.

Samantha is described as being 5ft 7ins tall of a slim build with shoulder length, highlighted blonde hair and green/blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red knee-length coat from Mango but may have changed her clothing since. CCTV images, taken in two separate locations, show Samantha wearing a distinctive red coat, black tights and black shoes. She is also holding a black handbag.

Louis is described as having collar-length straight fair hair, a fair complexion and blue eyes.

Dylan is described as having collar-length straight dark brown hair, a tanned complexion and brown eyes.

The two boys use the surname of Taylor. Officers do not have a description of the clothing the boys were last seen wearing.

Superintendent Rich Fretwell said "In light of the recently released footage, I would urge people to cast their minds back to Monday 27 March.

"Did you see a woman in a red coat walking in the city? We would like to hear from you if you did."

Anyone with information of their whereabouts to call Police on 101 urgently, quoting incident number 332 of 27 March 2017.
