Changes to Metrolink services

Metrolink tram
There will be some changes to services on Sunday (2 April) as track maintenance work takes place in the city centre.
As a result, the following services will operate:
- Rochdale - East Didsbury, via Exchange Square.
- Altrincham - Bury, via Exchange Square.
- Ashton - Victoria.
- Deansgate-Castlefield - Manchester Airport.
- Eccles - Piccadilly, via MediaCityUK*.
*From 4pm services will terminate at Cornbrook, rather than Piccadilly – a replacement bus will operate between the two stops from this time.
While no tram stops will close, some stopping points will be different to normal Sunday services. Please see the front of the tram for destinations.
Additional double trams will operate between Altrincham and Piccadilly from start of service until 4pm to support travel to/from the Asics Greater Manchester Marathon.
