Car seized by police
Four cars were seized by police officers from the Town Centre, Milkstone and Deeplish team between 11 and 17 March.
The cars were seized for various reasons, including failure to stop, driving an uninsured vehicle and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
A blue Ford was seized on 17 March after a man was arrested on Monmouth Street for driving whilst disqualified. He was taken into police custody.
On 14 March, officers pursued a black car that failed to stop in Deeplish. The occupants were detained and the vehicle lifted.
On 12 March, officers stopped a red Seat after a short pursuit on Milkstone Road. The occupants were arrested for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and the drugs seized.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “If you have information about drug use in your community or its supply you can report it via 101 or would rather report it anonymously you can via Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.”
On 11 March, officers stopped a black car and seized it due to the driver having no insurance.
