RAF helicopter visits All Souls' CE Primary School

All Souls' CE Primary School, Heywood were thrilled to watch the RAF helicopter land on the school field.

All 250 pupils had the opportunity to look inside the helicopter and find out about the controls and the roles of the RAF crew.

Deputy headteacher Lisa Pearson said: “The visit was too good an opportunity to miss and enabled the school to promote the importance of studying maths, science and technology with its pupils.

“The 'secret' visit had staff and pupils alike buzzing with excitement.”
