Horse trapped on barbed wire rescued

Doctor Fold Lane, Heywood
A horse stuck on barbed wire on Doctor Fold, in Heywood was rescued by firefighters on Saturday.
A fire engine and water incident unit from Heywood and a technical response unit and major rescue unit from Ashton attended.
The animal was distressed and firefighters used large animal rescue equipment to rescue the animal from the tree and fencing.
