Hamer Community Primary School

The monies raised last week on World Book Day have now been totalled and we’re delighted to say that we raised £240 for Springhill Hospice. Thank you so much for your donations. We will be inviting a representative from the hospice to a celebration assembly in the near future, where we will present them with a cheque.

Our KS1 children have had some little visitors over the last couple of weeks as we had our annual delivery from Living Eggs. The children have loved seeing them hatch into little chicks and have then been able to see them grow and develop every day.

A number of our children from different year groups have been out this week representing Hamer at the Rochdale Music Festival. There have been some excellent performances from our wonderful children. Thank you to Miss Page for organising these events. They will continue over the next few weeks.

Hamer ‘Stars of the Week’ for week ending 10 March 2017 are:

Nursery am – Hareem
