Severe delays on westbound M62

There are two lanes closed on the M62 westbound between J19 and J18 following a collision.

Greater Manchester Fire Service were in attendance for approximately one hour and released a female casualty from the car using specialist road traffic cutting equipment. Two fire engines from Heywood and one from Blackley, the technical response unit and major rescue unit from Leigh attended.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 5.15 and 5.30pm.
