Nominate Rochdale’s Diversity Champions 2017

Nominations are now being accepted for Rochdale Diversity Awards 2017.

The award categories and sponsors for 2017 are:

  • Cohesion Award: Rochdale Borough Council
  • Workforce Diversity Award: Greater Manchester Police
  • Diversity in Apprenticeships Award: KYP 
  • Diversity in Education Award: Falinge Park High School
  • Diversity in Health and Leisure Award: Rochdale AFC
  • Diversity in Public Sector Award: Al Habeeb Foundation
  • Breaking Barriers Award: The Regenda Group
  • Voluntary and Faith Sector Award: Sterling Currency Exchange Ltd
  • Outstanding Achievement in Diversity Award: The Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester

The Rochdale Diversity Awards are seen as a mark of recognition for diversity across the borough and further afield. 

The Diversity Awards aim to recognise contributions made by individuals, groups and/or organisations in making progress within their organisations and/or communities towards inclusion, cohesion and diversity within the workplace and/or service provision.

Nomination forms must reach KYP, Unique Enterprise Centre, Belfield Road, Rochdale, OL16 2UP by post or email: rda@kyp.org.uk no later than 5.00pm on Monday 3 April 2017.

The awards ceremony will be held on Friday the 19 May 2017 at Rochdale Town Hall.
