Cooking fire on Friars Crescent

Two fire engines from Heywood and one fire engine from Rochdale attended a cooking fire at a house on Friars Crescent at 6.39pm on Tuesday (28 February).
Firefighters used a hose reel, breathing apparatus and a pressure fan to tackle the fire.
