Date published: 17 February 2017

The driver of a red Renault Clio has fled the scene after the car collided with a house at the junction of Whitelees Road and Shore Road in Littleborough at around 4.30am on Friday (17 February).

The car went through a garden wall before hitting the house.

The driver is described as a white male with black hair of around 16-years-old, of slim build and 5’10” in height, believed to be wearing black and white trainers and a black bubble coat.

He fled the scene on foot, before returning and leaving again after someone shouted at him.

The car was removed by tow truck at around 7.40am and the wall has since been taped off by an engineer.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “Anyone with any information should call police on 101 quoting log 262 of 17/02/2017. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org.”
