Two taken to hospital after three car collision on Manchester Old Road

Two people were taken to Fairfield General and North Manchester Hospitals following a collision on Manchester Old Road near Kings Drive in Middleton at 4.45pm on Wednesday (15 January).

One patient was taken to hospital with back pain.

A rapid response vehicle and two ambulances attended the scene.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed it was a ‘minor injury collision’ between a white Mazda, a silver Honda Civic and a blue BMW 420d.

Road closures were in place until 6.30pm.
