Trial date set for Nisar Ali

A trial date of 12 June has been set at Manchester’s Minshull Street Court for Nisar Ali (24/10/1982) who has been charged with section 18 assault after a two-year-old girl from Rochdale was taken to hospital with serious head injuries following an incident on Daimler Street in Cheetham Hill on Wednesday 11 January.
Ali, of Brideoak Street, Cheetham Hill, appeared before Manchester Minshull Street Court on Monday 13 February 2017.
A further hearing will take place on 17 March.
A 35-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and bailed until 16 March.
