Close to 2,000 people left without power in Whitworth

A huge power cut has taken place on Tuesday (31 January) in Whitworth, affecting 1827 Electricity North West customers.
At the time of publication, 1211 people are currently without power after some supplies were restored.
Electricity North West has confirmed an engineer was dispatched shortly before 5pm and hope to restore power by around 6.30pm.
