Kirkholt incident: Man detained under Mental Health Act

Hill Top Drive, Kirkholt
A 57-year-old man was detained under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act following reports of a concern for his welfare at an address on Hill Top Drive, Kirkholt.
Police were called at around 4pm on Monday and officers attended and negotiated with a man who was refusing to leave the address for medical assessment.
A woman who was wanted for failing to appear at court was also at the address. She has been arrested and remains in police custody for questioning.
