Date published: 06 January 2017

Jager Maestro Bands fundraiser, for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation & Development (BIRD) charity, was a great nights entertainment and the room was full with people enjoying the Oompah band, who played a fantastic set of music getting the audience to engage with each other clinking their glasses and swaying to the beat.

Everyone seemed to have had a really good night, including the band.

Debbie Ainscow said: “I would ike to thank, Littleborough Cricket Club, Committee for donating the room and food, all those who helped on the night and the people who came and supported the event making it such a great success.

“We had an auction too, a signed Alex Ferguson picture of 20 years of Manchester United winning the League, kindly donated by Littleborough Cricketers also an Ian Botham signed picture donated by Miracle at Headingly.

“The night raised a fantastic £1,500

“This is being held again next year as it was such a great night.”

This year Debbie has raised £2,087, including the coffee morning.
