New Year's Eve family entertainment in Rochdale town centre

New Year’s Eve 2016 in Rochdale town centre was one to remember with thousands of people enjoying a host of family entertainment, a dance music stage on The Esplanade and a colourful firework display to round off the afternoon.
Children also enjoyed free funfair rides, a fancy dress disco and circus performances from Skylight Circus Arts.
Quality food and drink, courtesy of Quirky Catering, was provided.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Town Centre Management Company said: "It has been really good, really busy and the children have been great. Lots of families enjoying themselves."
