Firefighters on way to an incident
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended two cooking fires and one vehicle fire in Rochdale over the Christmas period.
On 27 December, two fire engines from Rochdale attended a cooking fire involving a pan of food at a house on Braddocks Close at 1.42pm. Firefighters treated a casualty at the scene.
At 9.28am on Christmas Day, one casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance after fire engines from Rochdale and Heywood attended a cooking fire on Edenfield Road in Rochdale.
On 24 December at 10.51pm, a fire engine from Rochdale attended a vehicle fire on Copenhagen Street, Rochdale. Firefighters used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
