A fire at a ground floor flat on Bramhall Close, Milnrow was tackled by firefighters using a thermal imaging camera and one hose reel at 6.18pm on Thursday (22 December). Once the fire was extinguished they used a positive pressure fan to clear smoke.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and crews fitted smoke alarms and letter box protectors and were in attendance for around two hours and thirty minutes.
