Just For Fun line dancing group present a cheque for £1,000 to the RSPCA Rochdale branch
The Just For Fun line dancing group presented a cheque for £1,000 to the RSPCA Rochdale branch at their Christmas party.
Rochdale Animal Centre manager Jean Spencer and branch secretary Jan Canavan accepted the cheque on behalf of the branch..
Jean Canavan said: "I am accepting the cheque on behalf of all the animals in the centre who have been rescued and are waiting to go to loving new homes.
"The Rochdale branch has to raise its own funds and this is a generous contribution towards the cost of running the centre."
Shirley Mellor said: "We were absolutely amazed at the fabulous amount the group raised for us."
The Just For Fun line dancers meet at St Paul’s church parish hall in Norden.
