Heritage notice board installed at Jubilee Park, Norden

Date published: 20 December 2016

A new heritage notice board has been installed at Jubilee Park in Norden.

Chairman Paul Ellison applied for it on behalf of the Friends of Jubilee Park, through Rochdale Council Township Clean and Green Priority Committee.

Mr Ellison said: "I would like to thank Councillor Jim Gartside for helping to part fund this project and Nigel Morrell for assisting. Now we have a great notice board as a focal point for Norden village and Jubilee Park, as well as the park being the start point for the Rochdale Township in Bloom competition."
