Compare and contrast: Councillors in Dudley agree to pay cut to help save cash

In complete contrast to Rochdale councillors voting themselves a 34% increase in allowances, councillors have voted to take a cut in their allowances, reports the Halesowen News.

The Leader of the Dudley council has voluterred to take a 10% cut, the Leader of Rochdale Council, Councillor Richard Farnell voted himslef a 55% increase.
