Date published: 15 December 2016
Repairs on a water leak at the intersection of Calderbrook Road and Hare Hill Road in Littleborough is expected be completed by the end of next week - almost a month after it was first reported by concerned residents.
The leak is understood to be caused by a valve on a key water main at the junction and first started leaking on Sunday 27 November.
A spokesperson for United Utilities said: “We can confirm that repairs started on the 11th and work should be completed during next week.
The road will remain open, however 4 way traffic lights will be in place while we carry out the repair.
We would like to apologise to our customers for the inconvenience this work may have caused."
