Man airlifted to hospital with head injuries after falling out of skip

A man was airlifted to Salford Royal with head injuries after he fell out of a skip on Daniel Street in Whitworth on Friday (9 December). 

A Rapid Response Unit, an ambulance and a helicopter all attended the scene.

A North West Ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.59am to reports that the patient had fallen out of a skip. The patient had several injuries including head, hand and back pain was taken by helicopter to the Major Trauma Unit at Salford Royal.”
