Heywood Legionnaires dancing success

Heywood Legionnaires Morris Dancing Troupe won four awards at the TMDA Championships, held at Pontins in Wales, where they competed against 15 other troupes from around the North West area.
Georgia Hughes was awarded Mascot of the Year, the Senior B Troupe took first place and Troupe of the Year and The Tiny Troupe came second in the Troupe of the Year competition.
The group of Siddal Moor students, who compete regularly, dance twice a month in and around the Manchester area have won various medals and awards in the past year.
