Santa visits Springfield Park model train

Santa visited The Rochdale Society of Model and Experimental Engineers in Springfield Park to offer children and families the chance to take a festive ride on the model train on Sunday (11 December).
Those who boarded the train got to meet Father Christmas, received a packet of sweets and a ride around the half a mile track.
Santa said: “I met lot of children today on the Santa Special with their mums, dads, grandmas and grandads.”
Santa will visit again on Sunday 18 December.
