Hero Bears needed in Middleton

Date published: 14 November 2016

The first Help for Heroes shop in the North West is to open in Middleton next week.

The military charity has been given a unit in the town’s shopping centre from Monday 21 November until the end of the year.

It will be selling its branded clothing, accessories, pet products, Christmas cards and gifts and much more to raise money for the wounded, injured and sick personnel, veterans and their families that it supports.

To ensure that the shop is busy throughout the run up to, and during, the festive season, Help for Heroes needs local volunteers to ‘do their bit’ by wearing one of its Hero Bear mascot costumes as a way to attract shoppers through the door.
