Sole 2 Sole fashion boutique raised £350 for The Brain Tumour Charity at a fashion show event at Tunshull Golf Club in Milnrow on Friday (4 November).

After a year of selling shoes and bags, the boutique, located inside Two Bridges Mill, branched out to also stock adult clothing, including those donning Italian and Portuguese designer labels.

Owner Jennine Rylands decided to host a charity fashion show to promote her recent expansion, choosing The Brain Tumour Charity in honour of her good friend, Dianne Madden, who suffers with a brain tumour.

She said: “Dianne initially suggested Cancer Research UK, but I wanted to donate the money to a charity that was a bit more personal. So I suggested The Brain Tumour Charity because of Dianne.”

Jennine recruited friends, family and customers to model outfits for the evening with local professional photographer Jackie Meredith taking photos on the evening.

Guests were treated to a glass of wine and a pie supper and prizes were also raffled off over the course of the evening.
