Team from Wellfield Pharmacy climb Snowdon for charity

Date published: 01 November 2016

A team from Wellfield pharmacy raised £920 by climbing Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. The path they took was nine miles/14.6km and took five/six hours to complete the ascent.

The climb was in order to raise money for Dementia UK, a charity who provides specialist one-to-one support and expert advice for people living with dementia in the UK.

The charity was chosen by the pharmacy team as they deal with patients on a daily basis who have been affected by dementia and have seen first-hand the help and support they require.
