Woman charged in connection with baby’s death breaches bail conditions

Date published: 31 October 2016

The woman who was charged in connection of the death of a baby in Rochdale reappeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrate’s Court last Friday (27 October) after breaching the conditions of bail.

She failed to report to Rochdale Police Station between 12 and 5pm every Wednesday, one of her bail conditions.

The other bail conditions are to live and sleep at an undisclosed address and to also not directly or indirectly contact the man involved with the child’s death.

She has been bailed under the same conditions until the trial on 6 March 2017.

Reporting restrictions on the identity of those charged are in place, hence the man and woman cannot be named.
