Norden Jubilee Park Halloween Party

Date published: 31 October 2016

Ghouls, witches, demons and devils were out in force on Saturday night as Norden enjoyed its annual Halloween party.

Over 200 children and parents dressed to scare at the award-winning Jubilee Park, enjoying treats and tricks aplenty.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, Ray and Elaine Dutton, were on hand to award prizes to the best dressed children, accompanied by councillors Jim Gartside and Michael Holly.

Paul Ellison, Chairman of Friends of Norden Jubilee Park, said: "What a great event, and it was so good to see so many children having spooky fun.

“Thanks to all who attended, and all the volunteers who helped out. We would like to thank our sponsors, Evergreen Landscapes, PNS Landscapes, The Bridge Chippy, Carousel Cards and Party, The Eatery, Maskerade Fancy Dress and Gary Clegg Building Services.”
