Francis Doherty was wanted for breach of his licence conditions
Wanted sex offender Francis Doherty, 63, was arrested in Bury in the early hours of Friday morning (28 October).
Police had put out an appeal after Doherty was caught on CCTV on Halifax Road, Rochdale on Wednesday (26 October).
A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: “He was arrested during the early hours and will be returned to prison.”
