Liz McInnes joins Labour front bench team

Liz McInnes, MP for Heywood and Middleton, has been appointed as a Shadow Foreign Minister in Labour's front bench team.
Ms McInnes said: "I am honoured and privileged to have been offered the role of Shadow Foreign Minister and I was delighted to accept.
"It has been a very difficult summer for the Labour Party and we must now get on with the job we are elected to do of being an effective opposition to this divisive and failing Tory government.
"I look forward to working with our excellent Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry MP and the rest of the team and holding the government to account."
