Ellis Farnell wins The Wheatsheaf colouring competition

Date published: 06 October 2016

Ellis Farnell, age six from Rochdale, is the winner of the Wheatshaef Shopping Centre Big Friendly Read colouring competition.

Ellis and his family collected his prize at the Wheatsheaf last week: a hamper full of toys worth £250.

Two runners up have also received a £10 gift voucher to spend at the centre.

All entries to the competition are on display at The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre for the next month, so friends and families of the participants will get the opportunity to see them. The display will be located in a unit by Russell’s Café.

The Big Friendly Read colouring competition ran throughout the summer holidays.

Debbie Hernon, Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre Manager, said: “It was great to meet Ellis and his family on Thursday and it was a joy to award Ellis with the wonderful prize.”
