Collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a Toyota Corola on Gale Street, Syke
An 11-year-old boy was taken to hospital following a collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a Toyota Corolla on Gale Street, Syke.
The boy was a passenger in the Toyota; the driver of the Toyota was also taken to hospital.
The boy suffered a head injury, the driver suffered leg and arm injuries - both understood to be non-life-threatening.
Police were called shortly before 10am on Saturday (1 October).
A GMP spokesman said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101 and quote the reference number 895 of 01/10/16.”
