Neil Dearden, known to many as ‘Gas Man’

Neil Dearden’s funeral will take place at 10.30am on Thursday 13 October at the Cemetery Chapel, Rochdale followed by a burial service at 11.00am.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects to Mr Dearden can do so between 9.00am and 5.00pm on Wednesday 12 October at Co-op Funeral Care, 203 Drake Street, OL11 1EF.

Mohammad Yousaf, of Autoshop, will be arranging a taxi service for those who may struggle to reach the funeral. Anyone wishing to use the service must contact him at least 48 hours in advance of the funeral in order to book the transport.

Anyone using this service should meet outside Autoshop no later than 10.00am on the morning of Thursday 13 October.
