Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 30 September 2016

We are part of an exciting new project – ‘A library card for Every Child’. Every child in the county is being encouraged to becomes a library member and as part of this, we have library membership cards for every child in Year One.

The cards need to be activated, which is explained in a leaflet. We are very keen to encourage reading at Hamer Primary School and we hope to make every child across school a member of the library this Autumn Term.

We would like to thank parents for sending their money for the Lower Key Stage 2 theatre trip to see the wonderful production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. A reminder that the original date has been changed and the trip will now be on Wednesday 4 January 2017.

Mrs Hoyle is delighted at the number of children who have been to her to show her their fantastic Literacy work since the start of term. The wonderful work is in the Literacy display near the front of school. Well done everyone – keep it up.
