The thieves broke in by removing the back door and its frame
Raffle prizes at Springhill Hospice Tea Rooms at The Craven, Broad Lane were stolen after a break in at 3.00am (Monday 3 October).
The thieves broke in by removing the back door and its frame. They entered the building through the gift shop.
It costs £8,200 pounds a day to keep the Hospice open. Only one third of this cost is funded by the government, with the remainder coming from donations and sales made at the charity shops and tea rooms.
