Vehicles seized in police traffic operation

Three vehicles which were uninsured were seized when the Kingsway Neighbourhood Policing team ran a traffic operation on Milnrow Road at the junction with Church Road on Friday.

Thirteen fixed penalty notices were issued, 10 for using a mobile phone while driving, one for having no insurance, one for having no MOT and another for not wearing a seat belt.

North Neighbourhood PCSOS targeted driving whilst using mobile phones and driver/passengers failing to wear seatbelts on Friday.

Bamford - Officers issued three tickets for driver/passenger not wearing seatbelts and four drivers for using mobile phones. Officers also pulled over and advised 21 drivers about the manner of their driving and speed.

Nordern - Officers issued five tickets for not wearing seatbelts and a ticket for driver using a mobile phone. Officers also pulled over two vehicles over for checks - all was in order.
