Rochdale Christadelphians

Date published: 14 September 2016

This Sunday's Bible Hour is about ‘The Promises to David’.

David, who is famous for defeating Goliath, was one of the first kings of Israel in Old Testament times.

God promised him that He would establish one of his descendants as king for ever. We are told more about this in the New Testament in Acts 13, where we find out that this man was Jesus, who became Israel's saviour.

The New Testament also tell us that after Jesus' death and resurrection, he ascended into heaven. It is from here that he will return to earth, and then he will be established as King for ever, as he will rule over God's Kingdom.

This Bible Hour will take place at 4:30pm on Sunday 18 September.

Our Bible Class at 7:45pm on Tuesday 20 September, which will ask the question ‘Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?’
